Organized by The Opulence Events LLC, International Fashion week Dubai is held twice a year spring summer and fall winter and it regularly features in the international calendars. The concept of International Fashion Week Dubai (IFWD) is to bring together top International designers, from all over the world under one platform to showcase their talents and add marketing value to their products, at the same time it also gives opportunities to upcoming, local and International talented designers and students from universities to showcase their talents. International Fashion Week Dubai season 1 was launched in May 2015 and since then has completed 5 grand seasons. Season 5 was held at the exquisite Sofitel the Palms Hotel, Dubai in Oct 2017 wherein 12 Designers participated from different countries, another feature of season 5 was the launch of the International Fashion Awards and also the launch of the emerging designer’s competition, also for the first time in UAE a tech designer was launched at IFWD S5.
IFWD currently ranks as one of the top Fashion Weeks of Dubai and is attended by large number of press and buyers. A retail-focused event, International Fashion Week also has a 2 day life style exposition by top designers and vendors on the same days as the Fashion Week with exhibitors displaying and selling their products and services, the exposition is open to general public and attracts many buyers. it is a high end Fashion show and Exposition with International and local designers and buyers who patronize the event.
